On September 10th, 2020, approximately 154 Live Entertainment workers, who are out of work, pushed road cases from the loading dock of the Orpheum Theater to Peavey Plaza. Their goals was to raise awareness that the live events industry has been shut down since March due to COVID-19. We were marching to bring awareness to congress to pass the following acts:
- The Heroes Act which would help out the individual people in the live events industry.
- The RESTART Act which would improve on the PPP Loan and help businesses maintain or recover from the pandemic.
- The SAVE OUR STAGES Act which would provide financial relief to smaller stages that may not make it through this pandemic.
